Project Overview
Bobbitt was chosen to design and build the Hoke County Agricultural Building replacement facility. The owner wanted a multi-purpose building to serve several uses for the county including a community center, meeting and educational space and emergency operations center.
Bobbitt designed the 16,860-square-foot building to have a cohesive look with the health and human services building across the street. The building includes a full-size drop-off for buses for use as an emergency shelter, a large meeting space for the community and a large demonstration kitchen. The facility was dedicated to former Hoke County commissioner, Robert A. Wright.
