Project Overview
Eli Whitney Volunteer Fire Department, along with Fire Chief Randy Thomas and Steve Love, building committee chair, needed a new fire station to replace an outdated facility. Bobbitt provided a state-of-the-art fire station in this small, rural community.
The new 11,267-square-foot building is equipped to allow better firefighting and rescue services. The facility includes a generator capable of operating the entire building, which enables emergency communications and can accommodate residents for an extended period of time during a natural disaster.
